SEMINAR CLASS SET TO DEFEND NATIONAL STOCK GAME TITLE
The 2015 Capitol Hill Challenge, a competition open to all U.S. high schools, got underway Feb. 2 and will run through May 8. Canyonville Christian Academy‘s seminar class students finished number-one out of over 4,000 entries in 2014.
In the internet investing simulation game, students are given $100,000 to invest and real time stock bond, ETF, and mutual fund prices are used.
Teams placing in the top-10 in the nation get an all-expense paid trip to tour Washington, DC, meet with their senators and representatives, and attend various award programs and seminars.
CCA’s students won Washington trips in 2013 and 2014.
