Pilots Boys Notch 4th Win

In the second week of the young season, Canyonville Christian Academy’s boys added another win. This time at the expense of Yoncalla – a 52-45 victory in overtime.
The Pilots came up short against Umpqua Valley Christian 39 – 51 for their only basketball loss of the year. (Season record: 4-1; State rank #8). The Pilots were unable to slow down 6′ 7″ center Danny Medak who shot 10 for 11 from the field, scored 28 points, and pulled down 15 rebounds.
CCA’s girls also picked up a win in week two. The girls were able to hold off UVC by a 45-41 final score.
