Summer is nearing its end and the 2017-2018 school year is almost here!  Soon it will be time to start packing for boarding school.

For many of CCA’s students it is not only their first time living away from home, but also their first time living in another country.  (Last year CCA’s student body represented 16 different countries from all over the world!) Packing for such a transition can be exciting and stressful.  Therefore, CCA has created a helpful dorm room checklist to make sure you have everything you might need for your boarding school experience.  

Some of the necessary items on this list are available for purchase at the boarding school such as: bedding (bed in a bag includes comforter, pillowcase, and sheet set), pillows, basic school supplies, and graphing calculators. Students will also be able to purchase other supplies at the Dollar Store or grocery store in Canyonville (walking distance) or on the school shopping trip to Walmart, which is planned within the first few days of school.  

Canyonville Christian Academy has four dormitories: two for boys and two for girls.  Although the size and number of students in a dorm room may vary, each dormitory and room is well equipped with staff, furniture, laundry facilities, kitchen areas, study areas and shower/bathrooms facilities.
