Christian Academy Volleyball Team Hits Harder Than Ever

by admin
Canyonville Christian Academy’s volleyball team has been steadily improving. This private school’s volleyball team is made up of students from all over the world. Many of these students have never played this type of sport before.
As a volleyball team, they play against students who have been playing volleyball for years. They also play against teams who have been practicing together before the school year even starts and some have even gone to volleyball camps over the summer.
This year Canyonville Christian Academy’s volleyball team played very competitively and skillfully against their opponents, finally bringing in victory! This shows the great talent, dedication and hard work of CCA’s students.
The team has overcome many obstacles as they work to personally improve in the sport. They have also learned to work as a team. They allow their diversity of being from different cultures and speaking different languages enrich their teamwork, friendships and lives.
“Everyday, our goal was simple. Be better at the end of the day than we were at the beginning. I believe we accomplished that. Imagine if we took this approach with everything we do… I’m hoping that this is more than a volleyball thing, but a life long goal.” – Coach Brian Fye
*Special thanks to everyone who came out to support them and helped make the season possible!
