Basketball Team Captures 2-0 Season Start
In the season opener, the Canyonville Christian Academy boys’ basketball team overcame a half-time deficit to down the South Umpqua (4A) JVs by a 62-59 score.
Also, in season week one, the Pilots topped El Sobrante (California) Christian 54-44. The two early games showed strong outside shooting (12 three-point baskets) and balanced scoring.
The team now heads into a four-team tournament followed by a home-and-home with Milo Adventist Academy.
