President of Canyonville Christian Academy, Doug Wead, speaks to student body!

Canyonville Christian Academy students had the treat of hearing President Doug Wead speak to them in chapel during the month of October.  President Wead resides in the Washington D.C. area of Virginia so having him and his lovely wife, Myriam and their daughter, Camille come for a visit was special for CCA.

Mr. Wead spoke to the student body and challenged them to be “changers” and make a change in the world for the better.  He used the Biblical story of Gideon to illustrate how God can use someone who outwardly seems unextraordinary to become an extraordinary world changer!  It was great to have Doug Wead with us.
