Pilots Boys’ Basketball Team Sweep First 3 Games

by admin
In week one of the 2012-13 basketball season, Canyonville Christian Academy’s boys posted three victories.

This boarding school‘s basketball team is a diverse group of students from all over the world who learn to work together to accomplish first a team spirit, then unity on the court. This weekend showed the results of the boys’ hard work.
The team opened with a 13 point win over South Umpqua’s (4A) JV’s. This was followed by wins over Butte Falls (67-31) and El Sobrante Christian (66-37) for first place in the CCA Invitational Tournament.
The Christian academy’s largely novice girls’ team went winless in week one but made a strong showing against El Sobrante, a school from the San Francisco Bay area.
