Mike Mitchell (Staff – 1985 – 1990)
Mike Mitchell (Staff 1985-1990) passed away the first week of July 2015.
Mike coached CCA girls’ basketball teams for five seasons. Among the achievements of his girls were two district championships and a third place finish at the 1989 OSAA state tournament.
His 50 wins over his last three seasons make him the winningest girls’ coach in school history.

I am so sad to learn of Mike’s passing. I was Dean of Girls from 1985 -1988, so I knew first hand
what a talented, kind and caring coach he was. The girls thought a lot of him also. I hope all is well
with your soul, my friend.
Thank you for your kindness Joyce. He really was a great coach! The girls really respected him and worked hard under his guidance… it always payed off for them as wins!
