BOYS BASKETBALL TEAM SET TO COMPETE IN POST-SEASON PLAY
The District 2 (Class 2A) playoffs will get underway for private school Canyonville Christian Academy’s basketball team on Friday Feb. 21 at 7:30 p.m. at Umpqua Community College, Roseburg.
The Pilots will most likely meet Days Creek in the opening game. A win will send CCA to State. A loss will pit the Pilots against the winner of the Oakridge-Monroe game on Saturday, with the winner qualifying for state.
Going into the playoffs, the Pilots finished up the season with four wins (Riddle, Monroe/Homecoming, Glendale, and North Douglas) and a loss at Oakland. With one regular season game to go, the CCA boys have a
15-4 record.
