Accelerated Learning

Canyonville Christian Academy (CCA) is pleased to offer Accelerated Learning as an opportunity for students to receive both high school and university credit while enrolled in an approved accelerated learning course. CCA does not endorse any particular college but will, upon request, assist students in reviewing potential colleges for accreditation.

Requirements

• Junior or senior with a cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.0 or above
• Met course pre-requisites including math or English placement testing, if applicable
• Parental Permission
• Career Counselor Approval
• Enrollment in Accelerated Learning Section (ALS)
• Appropriate computer, tablet or other device with internet access (this is in addition to access to CCA’s computer lab (CLAB)
• Enrollment in a CCA-recognized college or university
• Enrollment in college courses is limited to one course per CCA semester

Because students can enroll in a number of accredited colleges, a complete list of available courses is not possible. However, a short list is provided here with examples of participating colleges’ offerings.
