Investing Boarding Students Dominate State Rankings

The Oregon high school “Stock Market Game” ended Dec. 15 with Canyonville Christian Academy holding down the top six spots in the final rankings. 

Entries from seminar class finished first through fifth. Boarding students from the senior Economics course brought home sixth and eighth place honors.

The winning CCA entry made a $76,016 profit on a $100,000 portfolio in just 10 weeks. The top non-CCA entry, McLoughlin High School, showed a profit of $$14,067.  A year ago the Pilots placed third among U.S. high schools and qualified students for trip to Washington, DC.
