Alumni updates
Gary Petersen is the senior pastor at the 1st Church of the Open Bible in Dayton, Ohio, a position he has held since 1998. Rev. Petersen is a former chairman of the Board of Directors of Canyonville Christian Academy and pastor of CCA’s home church in the 1990’s.
Don Causey, former Canyonville Christian Academy superintendent, is the pastor of the Open Bible Christian Center in Riddle, Oregon where he has been ministering for over a decade.
Larry Gatlin is now the minister of the Canyonville Assembly of God Church. Rev. Gatlin was coach of Canyonville Christian Academy’s 1986 boys basketball team which played in the state tournament.
Jack Winter ’73 and former Canyonville Christian Academy coach was honored for 25 years of service to El Sobrante Christian School. Jack has been a coach, teacher and athletic director at this central California school.
