Charles and Karen Vincent and their children, Josiah (13), Aleyah (10), and Ava (8), are excited to start a new adventure together as they move from Vacaville, CA to join us here at CCA!  They are looking forward to building new relationships and being surrounded by the beauty of God’s creation in Oregon.

Charles will be a boys’ dean and Karen will teach music for this 2017-2018 school year.  Charles has a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministry and Video Production.  He has worked in church youth ministry and in video/media ministry.  Karen has a Bachelor of Science in elementary education with a minor in Music and Biblical studies.  She has been a school music teacher, piano instructor, and church worship director.  

Mrs. Vincent loves teaching because of the relationships it allows her to build.  She enjoys being able to positively influence students and share her love of music with them.  She believes music is a unique gift from God and is a great vehicle of expression.

Charles and Karen love working with youth and helping them during this exciting part of their lives.  They think high schoolers are fun, authentic, and world changers!  The Vincent’s  enjoy learning about the diversity of other cultures. They have found that having a better understanding of cultures gives them a greater love of people from all parts of the world.  

Their children are looking forward to making new friends and exploring a new part of the United States.
